Bauer's MCN looking good 6 months into its new-look

MCN Art Director Nick Lemon asked me to consult on the new design at the start of the year. MCN changed it's approach, pushing opinion and analysis of the news higher in the mix.

I'd helped Nick to chose fonts and work out a cover strategy a few years ago so it was great to get invited back for the next stage.

Historic Scotland's new look

The Autumn issue of the Historic Scotland member magazine is published with a brand new look.
I design the magazine on behalf of Think Publishing.

Industry lore says dogs boost cover sales

I build and write the covers for Fly Fishing and Fly Tying with editor Mark Bowler.

September featured an obedient pup looking at his master.

Industry lore says dogs boost cover sales in the field and game markets and, curiously, wet dogs do an even better job!

October's bright colours announce Autumn's arrival but readers can end their season on a high with our Wild Trout tips and quick-tying fly patterns
